Texas shark fin ban (HB1579) signed into law!

Today, the State of Texas adopted a legislative ban on shark fins, through the enactment of House Bill 1579. Texas is now the 10th and largest state to ban the sale, trade, possession, and distribution of shark fins, and has provided a large market for shark fins in recent years.
